
A Madhya Pradesh government-funded research project, initiated in 2011 at Jabalpur's Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University to develop cancer treatments using cow-based preparations like Panchagavya, is under investigation. The project received Rs 3.5 crore in state funding. A probe, prompted by a formal complaint, is examining allegations of financial irregularities, including inflated spending on materials like cow dung and urine, questionable purchases, and unclear scientific outcomes over nearly a decade.
