Karnataka to Hold Joint Legislative Session on MGNREGA Repeal from January 22 to 31

The session aims to raise awareness about the new law's social and economic impacts and strategize on restoring MGNREGA, including mounting a legal challenge. The format was changed from a special to a joint session due to constitutional requirements. Opposition leaders have criticized the session's purpose and cost.
