Opposition MPs Request Rajya Sabha Discussion on Commerce or External Affairs Ministry

Opposition MPs in the Rajya Sabha have jointly written to Chairman CP Radhakrishnan requesting a discussion on the functioning of either the Ministry of Commerce and Industry or the Ministry of External Affairs, citing the current global situation, energy crisis, and challenges facing India. The letter, signed by leaders from major opposition parties representing around 100 MPs, highlights that these ministries have not been discussed in the House for the past 16 years. The demand follows ongoing calls since the Budget session, during which other ministries have been reviewed.
