
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav transferred Rs 810 crore to 3.77 lakh soybean farmers under the Bhavantar scheme, which compensates for purchases below the Minimum Support Price. Addressing a state-level conference in Ratlam, Yadav described the scheme as a symbol of the government's commitment to farmers' prosperity. He also inaugurated development works worth Rs 145 crore and announced 2026 as the year dedicated to farmer welfare, promising modern farming techniques and solar pump subsidies.
