Uttarakhand has been awarded Rs 200 crore by the central government for its significant reforms in the mining sector, ranking second nationally. The state implemented e-auctions, satellite monitoring, and enhanced transparency, leading to a revenue surge from Rs 300 crore to Rs 1,200 crore. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed gratitude, stating the funds will further promote transparency, technology, and sustainable growth in mining.
