Kerala Congress (M) and BDJS Announce Candidates for 2026 Assembly Elections

Five sitting MLAs, including Water Resources Minister Roshy Augustine, will seek re-election. New candidates like Biju Chirayath and Nirmala Jimmy were also named. The Bharath Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) declared 12 candidates for various constituencies, with party president Thushar Vellappally's candidacy yet to be confirmed. Both parties are preparing for contests against rivals from UDF, LDF, and NDA alliances.
