Zelenskiy Criticizes US Oil Sanctions Waiver Amid Ukraine Conflict and Iran Tensions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy criticized the US 30-day waiver on Russian oil sanctions, stating it could provide Russia with about $10 billion to fund its war against Ukraine and does not promote peace. During his visit to France, Zelenskiy highlighted Ukraine's shortage of air defence missiles, worsened by Gulf states using their stocks against Iranian attacks. French President Emmanuel Macron reaffirmed continued support for Ukraine and maintained that sanctions on Russia remain largely intact despite the temporary US waiver.
