Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee has urged party booth-level agents (BLAs) to assist voters facing issues with electoral rolls during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) hearings in West Bengal. He instructed BLAs to set up assistance camps near hearing centers and ensure no genuine voter is disenfranchised. Banerjee also plans to meet the Chief Election Commissioner to discuss deleted voter names and alleged conspiracies, while a party delegation will protest perceived harassment during the SIR process.
