
The BJP and Shiv Sena, ruling coalition partners in Maharashtra, have failed to form a pre-poll alliance in 15 out of 29 municipal corporations due to seat-sharing disputes. While alliances were secured in 14 corporations, including Mumbai and Thane, the process was reportedly difficult. The NCP has also formed separate alliances in some areas. This lack of uniform partnership highlights ongoing internal conflicts within the ruling Mahayuti coalition.
