West Bengal BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari raised concerns about the perceived 'insult' to President Droupadi Murmu by the state government during his meeting with Governor R N Ravi. The President had expressed disappointment over the absence of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her cabinet at Bagdogra airport during her visit. Adhikari also urged action against illegal immigration from Bangladesh, warning of demographic changes, and commented on a successful government employee strike demanding dearness allowance arrears. He promised Seventh Pay Commission benefits if BJP wins the upcoming state elections.
