Himachal Pradesh Withdraws Cabinet Rank Status and Defers Salaries of Top Officials

The Himachal Pradesh government has withdrawn the 'Cabinet rank' status from advisors, chairpersons, vice-chairpersons, and deputy chairpersons of various boards, corporations, and commissions, effective immediately. Alongside, 20% of their salaries and emoluments will be deferred until September 30, 2026.
