On February 25, the French government survived two no-confidence motions in parliament related to its adoption of a new energy law by decree, bypassing the National Assembly's final approval. The first motion, filed by the far-right National Rally party, received support from 140 members, while the second, filed by the hard-left France Unbowed party, was backed by 108 members. Both motions fell short of the 289 votes required to pass.
