
The U.S. Department of Energy has granted an export license to Clean Core Thorium Energy (CCTE), allowing them to sell nuclear technology to India. CCTE will partner with NPTC Ltd. to develop thorium as an alternative fuel for nuclear reactors. This development is significant for India, which possesses abundant thorium reserves but limited uranium, aiming to reduce reliance on imported nuclear fuels and enhance energy security.
