NC Legislators Request Withdrawal of Cases Against Youths Detained in Kashmir Protests

A delegation of National Conference legislators met Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on March 15 to seek the withdrawal of cases and release of youths detained during protests in Kashmir following the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Over 200 individuals, including some booked under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, were arrested across various districts.
