Former Andhra Pradesh DGP H.J. Dora Passes Away at Age 82-83

Hanumantu Jyothi Dora, former Director General of Police (DGP) of undivided Andhra Pradesh, passed away at age 82 or 83 while undergoing treatment at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad. An IPS officer from the 1965 batch, Dora was known for his intelligence-driven approach against the Naxalite movement and police reforms, including 'friendly-policing.' Leaders including Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and Union Ministers condoled his death, highlighting his contributions to law enforcement and welfare of police personnel.
