Sri Lankan Navy has arrested three Tamil Nadu fishermen and seized their boat. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin informed External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, urging immediate action for their release. Stalin highlighted that this incident adds to the 248 fishing boats and 61 fishermen from Tamil Nadu currently in Sri Lankan custody, emphasizing the disruption to livelihoods and requesting diplomatic intervention to prevent future apprehensions.
