MSRTC Plans Expansion of Shivneri Bus Service with 200 New Volvo Buses Across Maharashtra

Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) plans to expand its Shivneri bus service beyond the Mumbai-Pune corridor by introducing 200 new Volvo buses across multiple intercity routes, including Nashik-Pune, Pune-Kolhapur, and Nagpur-Amravati. The fleet will feature 30 sleeper coaches offering upgraded facilities. MSRTC's electric e-Shivneri buses are already operational on six routes, reflecting efforts to enhance comfort, safety, and connectivity statewide.
