
India is advancing its nuclear deterrence capabilities with the upcoming test of the K-6 submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM), reportedly capable of reaching 8,000 kilometers at hypersonic speeds. This follows successful tests of the K-4 SLBM, which has a 3,500-kilometer range and is nearing induction into the navy's fleet.
