Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha dismissed five government employees under Article 311(2)(c) for alleged links to terrorist groups Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Toiba. The terminated employees include a teacher, lab technician, assistant lineman, and staff from Health and Forest Departments. Authorities cited security concerns and intelligence inputs, while political leaders like Mehbooba Mufti criticized the dismissals as arbitrary and called for due process. Since 2020, over 85 employees have been dismissed on similar grounds.
