Yogi Adityanath Denies Idol Damage Amid Manikarnika Ghat Redevelopment Controversy

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed concerns over the redevelopment of Manikarnika Ghat in Varanasi, denying claims that idols or heritage structures were damaged. He accused opposition parties, particularly the Congress, of spreading misinformation and using AI-generated videos to create confusion and disrupt Kashi's development. Adityanath highlighted ongoing projects worth over Rs 55,000 crore aimed at preserving Kashi's spiritual heritage while promoting infrastructure growth, emphasizing that artefacts are being preserved and facilities improved for devotees.
