Spiritual leader Sadhguru has called for India to strengthen the Siliguri Corridor, popularly known as the "Chicken's Neck," into an "elephant's neck." He described the narrow passage connecting India's mainland to its northeastern states as a "78-year-old anomaly" from partition that should have been addressed in 1971. Sadhguru stated that with current threats to national sovereignty, India must develop this region, referencing perceived extremist policies and past missed opportunities.
