The Bihar government plans to develop a 'Shiva Circuit' to connect cities housing prominent Lord Shiva temples with improved roads and infrastructure, aiming to boost religious tourism. Announced by Road Construction Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, the initiative will follow models like the Buddha and Ramayana Circuits. Legislators have been asked to submit lists of key temples, including sites in Madhubani, Bhagalpur, Gaya, Sonpur, and Muzaffarpur.
