Karnataka Minister Assures KSIC T Narasipura Silk Factory Will Remain Operational

Karnataka Minister H. C. Mahadevappa has assured that the KSIC filature factory at T Narasipura near Mysuru will not be closed amid proposals to build a stadium on part of its land. He emphasized that silk production and workers' livelihoods remain the government's priority, and alternative sites for the stadium will be considered if necessary. Opposition BJP leaders have criticized the plan, warning it could harm the Mysuru Silk brand and local industry, but the government denies any intention to disrupt factory operations.
