The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has approached the Supreme Court alleging obstruction by the West Bengal government and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee during raids on I-PAC in a coal scam probe. The ED claims state officials interfered with searches and seized evidence. In response, the West Bengal government filed a caveat in the Supreme Court, seeking to be heard before any orders are passed. The Kolkata Police have also initiated a probe into alleged document theft during the ED raids. Meanwhile, Opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari has sent a legal notice to Mamata Banerjee over her coal scam allegations.
