
Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg outlined the state's plan to become a high-income, inclusive, climate-resilient, and innovation-driven economy by 2036, coinciding with its centenary and India's 100 years of Independence in 2047. She highlighted Odisha's estimated GSDP of Rs 9.9 lakh crore for 2025-26, a 9.5% increase from the previous year, and a real growth rate of 7.9%, surpassing the national average. Per capita income has nearly tripled in a decade. Key sectors include manufacturing and services, with women empowerment initiatives supporting grassroots economic participation. Emphasis was placed on inclusive, regionally balanced, and environmentally sustainable growth during the Vikash Manthan 1.0 conclave.
