BJD to Observe 110th Birth Anniversary of Biju Patnaik Across Odisha

The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) announced that the 110th birth anniversary of former Odisha chief minister Biju Patnaik will be celebrated statewide on March 5. Party units have been instructed to observe the day with enthusiasm, including floral tributes, meetings on Patnaik's contributions to the independence movement, and blood donation camps. BJD president Naveen Patnaik is expected to attend the events, which will also be held at the party headquarters. The date was previously observed as Panchayati Raj Diwas in Odisha.
