Following a High Court order, authorities in Bhopal have revised and reduced the circle rates for agricultural land in the Bhauri area. The administration had initially increased rates by nearly 300 percent for the 2025-26 fiscal year. An agriculturist petitioner challenged this, arguing their objections were ignored. The High Court directed the authorities to consider the objections, leading to a reduction from Rs 5.6 crore to Rs 3.6 crore per hectare.
