Punjab Police arrested Satinder Singh Kohli, a former SGPC auditor, in Chandigarh in connection with the alleged disappearance of 328 Guru Granth Sahib 'saroops' from SGPC records. The arrest is the first in the case, which was prompted by a court petition and an FIR filed in December. While the ruling AAP highlighted the court's directions, Sikh high priests have termed the investigation government interference in Sikh religious affairs. Kohli, who audited SGPC accounts for years, is named in an FIR with 16 others.
