The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) is facing scrutiny over its handling of the missing 328 Birs case, particularly concerning chartered accountant Satinder Singh Kohli. Kohli, an associate of SAD leader Sukhbir Singh Badal, was removed as SGPC auditor in 2020 for alleged negligence. SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami denies claims of conflict of interest or leniency, stating the committee is pursuing recovery of over Rs 7 crore from Kohli's firm as directed by the Akal Takht Sahib.
