Approximately 75,000 National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets are commencing drone flying training, following participation in 'Operation Sindoor' and other activities. This year has seen an increase in girl cadets, with 127 from Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, and 131 from the North East Region participating. Cadets from 25 foreign countries will also join the Youth Exchange Programme. Activities include competitions, firing, cultural events, and marching, culminating in a PM's Rally on January 28, 2026.
