Telangana CM Urges Use of Technology for Sanitation and Food Safety in Urban Region

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed the Municipal Administration department to leverage technology for timely completion of works in the Core Urban Region, emphasizing sanitation, mosquito control, and food safety. He instructed officials to assign unique numbers to streetlights linked to a central dashboard, install cameras in hotel kitchens for monitoring, and initiate pilot projects for rainwater harvesting at signal junctions. The CM also suggested creating awareness among residents and establishing a monitoring wing for food safety and emergency preparedness.
