Proposal to Add Harnai Port Stop on Mumbai-Vijaydurg Ro-Ro Ferry Service

Minister Yogesh Kadam has requested Fisheries and Ports Minister Nitesh Rane to include Harnai port in Dapoli taluka as a stop on the Mumbai-Vijaydurg Ro-Ro ferry service operated by the Maharashtra Maritime Board. The service aims to provide faster maritime travel between Mumbai and the Konkan region. Kadam highlighted ongoing jetty construction at Harnai and noted that Dapoli lacks railway connectivity, making this addition beneficial for local residents and commuters by improving transport options and reducing travel time.
