The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) inspected 125 roads in Gurugram as part of 'Operation Clean Air'. Inspectors found significant dust accumulation, dumped municipal and construction waste, and instances of open burning on many roads maintained by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG). The CAQM noted clear gaps in MCG's maintenance, waste collection, and enforcement, with 34 roads showing high visible dust levels. The inspection aimed to enforce anti-pollution curbs under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP).
