Ambulance services in Himachal Pradesh were disrupted for a second day due to a 48-hour strike by the 108 and 102 Ambulance Workers Union, affiliated with CITU. Protesting workers demanded implementation of labor laws, minimum wages, and an end to alleged employee harassment. The union warned of further escalation if demands, including proper overtime and workers' rights protection, are not met. They claim employees face exploitation, including below-minimum wages and long shifts without overtime, despite court orders.
