CJI Surya Kant Highlights Forensic Science's Role in Safeguarding Justice in Digital Era

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant emphasized forensic science as a vital protective shield safeguarding justice in the digital age during the National Forensic Sciences University convocation in Gandhinagar. He highlighted challenges like cyber intrusions, digital fraud, and transnational data crimes that demand advanced forensic analysis. The CJI noted that forensic science ensures factual clarity, supports judicial accuracy, and maintains public trust through neutrality and integrity. Over 1,700 students received degrees, including PhDs and gold medals, at the event attended by senior judicial and government officials.
