Two BJP Candidates Elected Unopposed in KDMC Elections Ahead of Polling

Two women candidates from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have been elected unopposed in the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) elections in Thane district, Maharashtra. Rekha Chaudhary, a long-time corporator, won from Ward No. 18, and Asawari Kedar Navare, a new face with RSS roots, won from Ward No. 26(A). State BJP chief Ravindra Chavan and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis congratulated the candidates, viewing the unopposed victories as a sign of public trust and a morale booster for the party ahead of the main elections scheduled for January 15.
