Election Commission May Replace Several District Election Officers in Assam Ahead of Polls

The Election Commission has requested the Assam chief secretary to provide names of IAS officers from the 2010 to 2021 batches, indicating potential changes in several district election officers (DEOs) ahead of the state's assembly polls on April 9.
