Hindu Groups Seek Exclusive Saraswati Puja Access at Bhojshala on Basant Panchami-Friday

In Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, the longstanding dispute over the Bhojshala-Kamal Maula complex has intensified as Basant Panchami coincides with a Friday on January 23. The Hindu Front for Justice has petitioned the Supreme Court seeking exclusive access for Hindus to perform uninterrupted Saraswati Puja that day, citing ambiguity in existing ASI orders. Concurrently, a large Basant Utsav rally demanded continuous prayers at the site. Authorities have increased security to prevent conflicts amid overlapping religious observances.
