The Maharashtra government has introduced an offline photo upload feature for the e-crop sowing registration process to assist farmers facing connectivity and technical issues. This system allows farmers to capture crop images offline, which upload automatically when network access is restored. The government aims for 80% of registrations to be completed by farmers directly, with village-level officials assisting those encountering difficulties. Registration must be completed within 55 days of sowing, and efforts continue to address technical limitations linked to the central platform.
