RLP Calls Off Farmers' March to Jaipur After Government Assurances on Demands

Rashtriya Loktantrik Party convener and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal called off a planned farmers' march to Jaipur after talks with government officials at the Ajmer-Nagaur border. The administration assured strict action against illegal gravel mining and adequate compensation for farmers affected by railway and power line projects. Farmers had also demanded crop insurance payments and withdrawal of police cases from past agitations. Initial talks were inconclusive, but written assurances led to the march's cancellation.
