A Delhi court convicted Kashmiri separatist leader Asiya Andrabi and two associates under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) for conspiracy and membership in a banned terrorist organisation, Dukhtaran-e-Millat, which Andrabi founded in 1987. Arrested in 2018, they were charged with waging war against India, promoting enmity, and criminal conspiracy. The National Investigation Agency led the case, citing their use of hate speech and separatist activities. Sentencing arguments are scheduled for January 17, with possible life imprisonment.
