AIUDF Chief Ajmal Criticizes Congress, Open to Alliance Ahead of Assam Elections

With Assam Assembly elections approaching, AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal expressed openness to an alliance with the Congress to defeat the BJP but criticized Congress for its silence on eviction drives and alleged neglect of Muslim education. Ajmal accused Congress of prioritizing votes over minority welfare and blamed it for policies affecting minorities. While AIUDF plans to contest alone, Ajmal emphasized the need for opposition unity. He also praised late singer Zubeen Garg for his meaningful songs.
