In Mumbai's Ward No. 107 for the 2026 BMC Elections, BJP candidate Neil Somaiya, son of a former MP, faces a less competitive race. The NCP (SP) nomination was rejected, and Shiv Sena (UBT) and MNS did not field candidates. Somaiya, a former corporator who won in 2017, now primarily contends with VBA's Vaishali Sakpal and eight independent candidates. The final list of contenders will be clear after the withdrawal deadline on January 2.
