
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has urged India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to intervene urgently to evacuate Indian students stranded in Tehran amid ongoing unrest in Iran. Highlighting the case of Hyderabad student Ayman Fatima, whose passport is reportedly held by Shahid Beheshti University and whose family has lost contact, Owaisi called for a comprehensive evacuation plan. He noted challenges including communication blackouts, financial constraints, and withheld passports affecting over 70 Indian students at the university.
