
The Navsari Municipal Corporation in Gujarat has launched a Rs 112 crore project to improve water supply and drainage infrastructure, benefiting over 25,000 residents. Following the merger of Navsari-Vijalpore Municipality and four villages, the plan includes new pipelines, overhead tanks, sewage treatment plants, and enhanced roads, street lighting, and cleanliness initiatives. Civic chief Dev Chaudhary emphasized the focus on upgrading basic civic facilities in the new year.
