
The Union Ministry of Labour and Employment held the second of six regional conferences in Jaipur to support the implementation of four new labour codes enacted in November. Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje and Labour Secretary Vandana Gurnani emphasized stronger Centre-state coordination, timely finalization of labour code rules, and expansion of Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) coverage. The conference also focused on integrating state systems with central IT frameworks and promoting employment through the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY).
