
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha urged Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University students to move beyond rote learning towards skill-based education for future job markets. Speaking at the 11th convocation, he emphasized the role of educational institutions in ensuring student employability and contributing to India's development by 2047 through a knowledge economy. During the ceremony, 821 degrees, including doctorates and master's, were awarded, with 25 meritorious students receiving medals. Sinha also laid the foundation stone for 320 houses for flood-affected families in Reasi.
