Panthic leaders have criticized the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) regarding 328 missing saroops of the Guru Granth Sahib. Leaders stated the issue concerns the entire Khalsa Panth, not just the SGPC, and accused the committee of protecting its office-bearers. They urged the Akal Takht officiating Jathedar to let the law proceed without shielding the SGPC, noting an FIR was registered against culprits only after public pressure.
