Security forces in Manipur have arrested three militants from various proscribed outfits, recovering arms and ammunition. Two KCP (Noyon) cadres were apprehended for alleged involvement in recent firing incidents, with a pistol recovered. Another militant, a member of Prepak (Pro), was arrested for extortion, and a PLA cadre was also apprehended. Separately, arms and ammunition were recovered from Ikop Pat and Awlmun village. These operations occur amidst ongoing security efforts since the ethnic strife began in May 2023.
