Electricity has finally reached Simrajra, a remote village in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district, after 78 years without power. The remote settlement, located amid rugged hills and dense forests, faced challenges including difficult terrain and wildlife, which previously hampered infrastructure projects. The district administration successfully implemented a solution using insulated power cables after conventional methods failed, bringing light and enabling evening studies, mobile charging, and improved safety for residents.
